Cash Reconciliation Officer

About the role

AUTO1 Group, a European platform for the used car sector active in more than 30 countries, is looking for a Cash Reconciliation officer for its Global Accounting department. The team ensures accurate allocation and posting of bank transactions, and the role contributes to accurate financial records, account reconciliation, payment processing and resolution of discrepancies. The workplace is at AUTO1 Albania headquarters in Tirana.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile bank and clearing account balances as part of monthly, quarterly and annual financial closing processes.
• Allocate bank transactions to the corresponding business transactions.
• Process and post financial transactions in the accounting system, Oracle.
• Investigate and clarify account discrepancies and payment-related issues.
• Contribute to projects focused on process optimization and improving accounting efficiency.

Required profile

• Completed commercial apprenticeship or a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• Initial professional experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Structured, independent and reliable working style, with a strong understanding of numbers and good analytical skills.
• Very good knowledge of English, written and spoken.

Required skills

• High affinity for IT systems.
• Proficiency in common Office applications, particularly Excel.
