Cards Business Officer

About the role

The Cards Business Officer will act as the central point for retail and bank card pricing, profitability and product strategy. You will develop and implement pricing strategies, drive product development and manage the full lifecycle of card products to meet business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end card business pricing and performance across the product lifecycle.
• Lead segment selection, product development, channel planning and portfolio utilization.
• Collaborate with the Card Business Team Leader to shape strategy and oversee product P&L.
• Review product policies, recommend risk‑based changes and design new profitable card offerings.
• Set card fees and charges, propose pricing adjustments to optimise revenue while managing customer impact.
• Work with Sales & Distribution, CRM, Marketing and Customer Experience to define acquisition, activation, cross‑sell and loyalty initiatives.
• Monitor results, report deviations to the Card Issuing Team Leader and propose corrective actions.
• Participate in projects requiring card product support for issuing and acquiring activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the banking sector; card‑related experience is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, result‑oriented and team‑focused.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
