Business Office Manager

About the role

The Business Office Manager (BOM) supports the Facility Director and Clinical Manager in ensuring the center operates efficiently, cost‑effectively, and with a strong patient focus. This position oversees all non‑clinical business functions, from accounting to billing, while maintaining a positive image with physicians, patients, and insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and motivate non‑clinical staff, ensuring high performance and compliance.
• Manage computerized accounting and billing systems, overseeing daily financial transactions.
• Coordinate medical billing, coding, and reimbursement processes in line with Medicare and Medicaid regulations.
• Communicate effectively with upper management, physicians, patients, insurers, and external partners.
• Promote a favorable center image to stakeholders and the public.

Required profile

• High school diploma required; college degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of related experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams and handle complex financial operations.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, billing, coding, and regulatory requirements.
