Clinical Research Associate

About the role

Our Clinical Research team in Albania is looking for a Clinical Research Associate to manage two neurology trial sites in Tirana. The CRA will act as the primary contact for the sites and oversee all phases of the study, ensuring compliance with ICH‑GCP and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform site management and monitoring activities in accordance with ICH‑GCP, study protocols and applicable regulations.
• Collect, review and maintain all regulatory documentation required for study start‑up, ongoing conduct and close‑out.
• Communicate with investigators and site staff on recruitment, protocol deviations, retention, audits and overall site performance.
• Serve as a subject‑matter expert and mentor to junior CRA team members, sharing best practices.
• Support or lead audit and inspection activities as needed.
• Identify and qualify new potential sites in line with the country strategy.

Required profile

• B.A./B.S. with a strong emphasis on science or biology (preferred).
• Fluent in the local language(s) and English, both written and spoken.
• Minimum 1 year of independent monitoring experience in a bio‑pharma or CRO environment.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally 65‑75 % of the time (approximately 2‑3 days per week).
• Valid driver’s licence.
