Business Development Representative – Albania

About the role

Join NEKOD’s first commercial team in Albania and work directly with the founder to build and own the sales pipeline from day one. You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting new customers for our AI‑built application governance platform across the EU.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end sales pipeline: prospect, qualify, and book discovery calls.
• Build target lists and conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, phone, WhatsApp, or other channels.
• Engage decision‑makers such as CTOs, IT leads, founders, Head of AI, CISO, and Centre of Excellence managers.
• Leverage internal lead sources like hackathons, the NEKOD Pioneers program, and EU AI Act Roundtables.
• Maintain a clean CRM: qualify leads, keep them warm, hand over ready deals, and log all interactions.
• Represent NEKOD at Albanian tech events, meetups, and ICT gatherings.

Required profile

• Proactive attitude with the ability to work independently and wear multiple hats.
• 1‑3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in tech or SaaS.
• Comfortable selling technical solutions without being a developer.
• Strong English communication skills and willingness to collaborate across Tirana and Amsterdam.
• Existing network in the Albanian startup, fintech, or banking ecosystem is a plus.
