Business Credit Risk Officer – Corporate & SME Lending

About the role

The Business Credit Risk Officer will ensure that loan proposals comply with Tirana Bank's credit policies, safety standards, and risk appetite. Working closely with relationship and recovery officers, the role supports the Business Credit Department in evaluating corporate, SME, and other loan requests.

Key responsibilities

• Process, analyze, and assess loan proposals from Corporate, SME, BRU, and WO departments in collaboration with relationship and recovery officers.
• Prepare credit assessments that present risk evaluations and lending eligibility according to current credit risk policy.
• Follow each loan procedure through to final decision, whether approval or rejection.
• Participate actively in discussions on credit policies and procedures.
• Produce statistical and periodic reports related to various credit aspects.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor within the area of responsibility.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of banking experience in a similar credit risk role.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations, credit processes, and financial analysis.
• High attention to detail and strong critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
