Audit Support Analyst – Italian Project

About the role

Deloitte Albania is seeking a motivated Audit Support Analyst to join its Italian project team. You will work closely with client personnel, reviewing accounting and tax documentation, and ensuring compliance with Italian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Build relationships with clients and perform analytical reviews of accounting and tax documents.
• Review client accounts, operating procedures, and internal control systems.
• Execute high‑standard compliance controls and quarterly accounting reviews (verifiche trimestrali).
• Prepare documentation and outputs that support Deloitte’s audit reviews.
• Provide recommendations to improve controls and operational efficiency.
• Ensure timely completion of all activities in line with the work plan.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a multicultural team and manage multiple tasks.
• Preferable knowledge of Italian; language courses will be offered.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
