Audit and Assurance Senior Associate

About the role

PwC is hiring an Audit and Assurance Senior Associate in Tirana. The role sits within a team that delivers audit and assurance services to local and international clients, working alongside experienced professionals and using leading technology. The Senior Associate plays a key part in delivering audit and assurance work from planning through to completion, helping build strong teams and trusted client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Lead teams providing audit and assurance services to clients
• Assist managers and partners in managing a portfolio of clients
• Deliver audit work in line with ISAs and meet reporting deadlines
• Coach and advise new joiners and less experienced colleagues
• Build direct professional relationships with clients
• Contribute to the technical development of yourself and your team
• Stay up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Pursue business development to expand the service offering in the market
• Build your internal network within the PwC network

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, statistics or a minor in econometrics
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in audit and assurance services
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and excellent leadership skills
• Ability to build meaningful relationships, analytical thinking and business acumen
• Advanced command of English and grammatical skills in Albanian

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy
• Advanced command of the MS Office suite, especially Word and Excel
