About the role
We are recruiting for a US‑based accounting firm looking for an experienced Senior Tax Accountant to work remotely with the US team, focusing on American tax laws and software.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare corporate and state tax returns (Forms 1120, 1065, 1120‑S).
- Assist with IRS and state notice resolution and 1099 filing.
- Code transactions and create manual journal entries in QuickBooks Online.
- Set up bank rules, perform accounting cleanup projects, and support AP and payroll.
Required profile
- High attention to detail with data entry and financial documents.
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Basic understanding of US corporate tax return structures.
- Previous US accounting or tax experience preferred.
