About the role

To strengthen our procurement department, we are looking for a Purchaser who will create a collaborative environment between the company and suppliers, ensuring a good understanding of internal customers’ needs.

Key responsibilities

• Create a collaborative environment between SICPA and suppliers through efficient Supplier Relationship Management.
• Ensure a good understanding of internal customers’ needs.
• Organize supplier biddings, RFQs and evaluate results.
• Create, maintain and update the article database, Vendor Master Data and purchasing information in SAP.
• Create and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP, ensuring on‑time delivery.
• Maintain and improve BI reports, preparing procurement operational KPIs and reports.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments such as production, engineering, finance, quality, and supply chain.

Required profile

• Commercial or technical education with 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain.
• Good experience working with SAP (MM modules).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English; French or German is a plus.
