Junior Consultant in Tax & Accounting

About the role

The Junior Tax and Accounting Consultant plays an integral transactional and reporting role within Deloitte’s Tax Department. The position covers various aspects of the finance function, including tax compliance, process improvement documentation, reporting, and other special projects as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Recording and posting accounting transactions in the General Ledger, including invoices, bank statements, travel expenses, and other documents.
• Performing cost calculations and processing expense‑related documentation such as travel orders and cash registers.
• Preparing and submitting tax reports in accordance with applicable legislation and deadlines.
• Calculating salaries, processing payroll tasks, and preparing personal income tax calculations.
• Preparing various financial and non‑financial reports, including management and statistical reports.
• Performing general administrative and accounting‑related tasks to support the finance function.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field with strong interest in accounting and taxation.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills and a professional approach.
• Adaptable, proactive and able to work in a dynamic environment.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Open, communicative and service‑oriented toward clients and colleagues.
• Able to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and accuracy.
