Junior Consultant in Tax & Accounting

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Junior Consultant to join its Tax Department. The role combines transactional accounting, tax compliance, and reporting duties while supporting process‑improvement projects in a dynamic, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Record and post accounting entries in the General Ledger, including invoices, bank statements and travel expenses.
• Perform cost calculations and process expense‑related documentation such as travel orders and cash registers.
• Prepare and submit tax reports in line with legislation and deadlines.
• Calculate salaries, handle payroll tasks and process personal income‑tax calculations.
• Produce financial and non‑financial reports, including management and statistical reports.
• Carry out general administrative and accounting tasks to ensure smooth finance operations.

Required profile

• Higher education degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Team‑player with excellent communication skills and a service‑oriented attitude.
• Adaptable, proactive and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Willingness to learn and use accounting software such as SAP and Navision.
