Identity Trust & Fraud Intelligence Expert (AI Community)

About the role

Join TELUS Digital’s AI Community to help build a global "Shield of Trust" for digital identity. As a freelance expert you will train AI models to detect fraud, verify identity documents, and ensure the highest KYC standards.

Key responsibilities

• Document Authenticity Auditing – review and annotate high‑resolution scans of passports, visas, licences and flag forgery indicators.
• Liveness & Biometric Verification – evaluate test data to help AI recognise deepfakes, playback attacks and synthetic masks.
• OCR & PII Data Validation – audit AI‑extracted name, date‑of‑birth, expiry and other fields across multiple scripts and document formats.
• Adversarial Fraud Testing – act as a fraudster by submitting edge‑case and synthetic identities to expose model vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Criminal Justice, Forensic Science or Information Security.
• Native‑level proficiency in your primary language to identify regional document nuances.
• English proficiency of at least B1 level.
• Exceptional attention to detail for pixel‑level image analysis.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
