Economist

About the role

ATDG is seeking a detail‑oriented Economist to support the financial operations of its hospitality and tourism assets in Tirana. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate recording, reconciliation and reporting of daily transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Register MA/MP entries for Arka Art Hotel, Lobby Bar and Marea Resort using Excel and Alpha Web, including full accounting and reconciliation.
• Perform daily cash control, fiscal sales verification, liquidations and manage supporting documentation.
• Validate sales orders and generate invoices in Alpha Web.
• Account for sales and purchase invoices after price checks and applying approved discounts.
• Reconcile client accounts, analyse ledgers and execute monthly closing for the hotel and resort operations.
• Prepare weekly financial reports and highlight issues to supervisors.
• Participate in physical inventories, record discrepancies and correct them in the system.
• Collaborate with the finance staff and carry out tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of the Alpha software suite.
• High accuracy, productivity and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to work under pressure while maintaining professional ethics.
• Very good command of the English language.
