Test Lead Hardware

About the role

The Test Lead Hardware will ensure that hardware, firmware and software development teams follow defined testing methodologies and SOPs, driving product quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hardware, firmware and software teams to perform continuous testing and early validation.
• Review system, hardware and software requirements to ensure they are testable and verifiable.
• Define test plans, strategies and cases at system, integration and acceptance levels.
• Execute and coordinate tests, analyze results and produce clear test reports.
• Report and track defects using tools such as Jira, Xray and TestLink.
• Maintain communication with product owners, developers and other stakeholders.
• Define overall test strategy for projects, coordinate local and remote testers, and identify quality risks.
• Estimate testing effort, coverage and impact on planning, providing risk‑based quality status to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or IT (or equivalent).
• ISTQB certification (Advanced level is a plus).
• Experience with Six Sigma, FMEA or other risk‑based quality methods.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hardware or system quality assurance.
• Proven experience in equipment/hardware testing, integration and system validation.
• Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent coordination, communication and reporting abilities.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.
