Repair Center Technician

About the role

The Repair Center Technician will diagnose, analyze, and resolve technical issues for SICPA equipment, supporting Customer Service and Operations teams while ensuring equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, product calibration and issue conformity documents.
• Manage the RMA process in SAP from receipt to final disposition of defective equipment.
• Conduct incoming inspections, tests, and Pareto analysis of faulty equipment.
• Coordinate repairs or replacements with suppliers and align processes across global repair centers.
• Maintain databases, troubleshooting reports, and implement 8D analysis for critical field issues.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or extensive relevant technician experience.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, in teams and with multicultural stakeholders.

Required skills

• ERP system (SAP) usage for RMA management.
• Preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical/mechanical equipment.
• Product calibration and conformity documentation.
• Pareto analysis and 8D problem‑solving methodology.
• Experience with industrial ink‑jet printers and vision systems (optional).
• Interpretation of electrical/electronic/mechanical drawings.
