Site Contracts Specialist

About the role

The Site Contracts Specialist is a key member of the Clinical Management Team, responsible for supporting the timely negotiation, execution, and management of clinical trial agreements, budgets, and related documentation. The role works closely with sponsors, investigative sites, legal teams, and start‑up stakeholders to ensure contracts are delivered accurately, compliantly, and within agreed timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, negotiate and manage clinical trial agreements, amendments and related contract documentation.
• Develop, negotiate and manage site budgets within approved sponsor parameters.
• Act as primary liaison between sponsors, sites, legal teams and internal stakeholders for contract and budget activities.
• Maintain contract management systems, trackers and templates to support compliance and transparency.
• Support site payment activities and coordinate accurate invoicing processes.
• Participate in project meetings, audits, inspections and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a scientific, healthcare, legal, business or related discipline.
• Previous experience in a CRO, pharmaceutical company or clinical research environment with proven site contract negotiation and budget management.
• Strong understanding of clinical research processes, study start‑up activities and ICH‑GCP guidelines.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
