Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are a fast‑growing SaaS company serving the dental‑lab industry and are making our first engineering hires. As a Senior Software Engineer you will join a small, high‑ownership team where the code you write directly shapes the product and the way we work.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship full‑stack features using Next.js/React on the front end and NestJS/Express on the back end.
• Design, implement, and maintain PostgreSQL data models with Prisma across a multi‑service architecture.
• Own hands‑on infrastructure work: deployments, scaling, and reliability on AWS EKS (Kubernetes).
• Manage AWS services (RDS, S3, Amplify, CloudFront) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop event‑driven background jobs and integrate third‑party services such as Stripe.
• Maintain platform health with observability tools like New Relic and Sentry.
• Contribute to technical decisions, code reviews, and engineering standards.

Required profile

• Available to work US Eastern Time business hours (approximately 3 PM–11 PM in Tirana) on a long‑term basis.
• Strong full‑stack experience with TypeScript, React/Next.js, and Node.js (NestJS or Express).
• Hands‑on experience running containerized applications on Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
• Solid knowledge of core AWS services (RDS, S3, related infrastructure).
• Comfort with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and an ORM such as Prisma.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Self‑directed, clear communicator who can ship solutions without detailed specs.
