Senior Frontend Engineer – Headless WordPress & Next.js

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help build and scale a global web platform for a financial services client. You will work with a modern Headless WordPress + Next.js architecture, delivering high‑performance, engaging user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js, React and TypeScript.
• Create reusable, scalable UI components within the design system.
• Integrate and render content from Headless WordPress (Gutenberg) via REST APIs.
• Build responsive, accessible and SEO‑optimized interfaces.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and Backend teams to deliver features.
• Integrate third‑party services, analytics and personalization tools.
• Optimize frontend performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Leverage AI‑powered development tools to improve productivity.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong expertise in React, Next.js and TypeScript.
• Experience with Headless WordPress and consuming REST APIs.
• Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design and best practices.
• Proven ability to build reusable component‑based architectures.
• Familiarity with SEO, accessibility and performance optimisation.
• Strong English communication skills.
