About the role

We are looking for a proactive Purchaser to join our procurement team. The role focuses on managing supplier relationships, handling purchase orders, and supporting internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with suppliers through effective Supplier Relationship Management.
• Gather and interpret internal customers’ requirements to align procurement activities.
• Organise supplier biddings and RFQs, evaluate proposals and select optimal partners.
• Maintain the article database, Vendor Master Data and purchasing information in SAP.
• Create, issue and monitor Purchase Orders in SAP, guaranteeing on‑time delivery.
• Produce and enhance BI reports, preparing operational KPIs and procurement performance dashboards.
• Coordinate closely with production, engineering, finance, quality and supply‑chain departments.

Required profile

• Commercial or technical education with 1–3 years of experience in purchasing or supply‑chain functions.
• Proven experience with SAP MM modules.
• Strong communication abilities and capacity to work across cross‑functional teams.
• Fluent in English; additional French or German language skills are a plus.
