Payroll Specialist – Full‑time, On‑site in Tirana

About the role

The Payroll Specialist will work full‑time on‑site in Tirana, handling end‑to‑end payroll operations for OFive Global. This position ensures accurate, timely payroll processing while complying with local regulations and supporting the HR and Finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and process payroll data for each pay cycle.
• Maintain payroll records in compliance with Albanian legislation.
• Manage payroll taxes, statutory reporting and garnishments.
• Coordinate with external payroll service providers when required.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding compensation, deductions and benefits.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance to reconcile payroll, prepare reports and support audits.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with payroll legislation and company policies.

Required profile

• Strong experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Knowledge of payroll taxes, regulatory compliance and statutory reporting.
• Experience working with external payroll service providers and payroll systems.
• Expertise in handling garnishments and other deductions confidentially.
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency with payroll software and MS Excel.
• Excellent numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of UK payroll regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively, maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
