About the role
The Nephrology Department of a regional dialysis centre is seeking a qualified Nephrologist to lead and coordinate medical activities. The physician will ensure compliance with national regulations, plan patient care, and support general practitioners in daily routines.
Key responsibilities
- Be present in the dialysis centre daily and oversee all medical activities.
- Manage vascular access issues, phosphate‑calcium balance, anemia treatment, nutrition, blood pressure, and medication dosing according to GFR.
- Handle dialysis complications and evaluate each patient’s condition to define treatment protocols.
- Supervise general physicians and nursing staff, conduct permanent patient consultations, and perform monthly follow‑ups with electronic nephrology records.
- Determine session duration, frequency, and justify deviations from standard three‑times‑weekly, four‑hour sessions.
- Maintain continuous communication between the dialysis centre and hospital management, ensuring adherence to Ministry of Health protocols.
Required profile
- Specialist degree in Nephrology.
- Minimum two years of professional experience in dialysis or nephrology.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer literacy.
