Merchandise Manager

About the role

The company, a leading Albanian supplier of tiles, parquet, sanitary ware and building materials, is looking for a Merchandise Manager to lead the development and standardisation of its showrooms. The role combines retail space planning, visual merchandising and network store management to enhance the customer experience across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain showroom standards based on size, layout and product exposure.
• Set weekly and monthly priorities for store interventions and approve materials, panels, lighting, signage and related works.
• Coordinate with Operations, Sales, Procurement and Finance departments.
• Manage a project tracker covering tasks, costs, deadlines and status.
• Make decisions on space utilisation, product placement and budgeting.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews, audits and record issues for each store.

Required profile

• University degree in Business Management, Retail Management, Marketing, Visual Merchandising or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail space planning, visual merchandising or store network management.
• Strong knowledge of space optimisation, planograms and showroom concept standardisation.
• Experience designing category‑based displays and managing margins.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in SketchUp or similar design tools.
