Linux System Administrator - Magento Hosting Support

About the role

This remote position provides 24/7 hosting and infrastructure support for Magento eCommerce environments, ensuring high availability, security, performance and operational stability. It suits someone who wants flexible shift hours while working from home.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor infrastructure using Zabbix and AWS CloudWatch.
• Handle 24/7 incidents and document root cause analysis (RCA).
• Manage Debian Linux, NGINX, PHP, Redis, Varnish, Elasticsearch and AWS services (EC2, RDS, ELB, S3, Route53, Auto Scaling).
• Ensure security through firewalls, access control and SSL management.
• Set up automated backups, verify them and test restores.
• Optimize infrastructure performance and scale or provision servers for single, multi-server and auto-scaling setups.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or a related field.
• 1 to 5 years of experience managing infrastructure for eCommerce environments.
• Experience with web hosting environments and SLA-driven troubleshooting.
• Good communication skills.
