AI Engineer - Agentic AI Solutions

About the role

BIP Consulting is looking for AI Engineers to join its xTech centre of excellence in Albania, a unit of more than 1,000 professionals working on data and AI, cloud and exponential technologies. The team supports customers in adopting AI by building AI solutions, AI agents and AI products, and works on assignments across the countries where the centre operates, mainly Italy, the UK, Spain, Switzerland, the UAE, France and Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable machine learning, deep learning and LLM-based agents and software solutions for customer use cases and industrialise them for production.
• Work with Cloud Data Architects, Data Scientists, GenAI specialists and Data Engineers to build MLOps platforms, data and AI architectures, AI models and applications.
• Contribute to the xTech Data Community with research, technology scouting, new solution concepts and business development.
• Ensure performance, security and governability of the solutions delivered.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science or a related STEM discipline.
• 3 years of experience or more; seniority is assessed during the recruitment process.
• Fluent professional English is essential; professional Italian is a plus.
• Availability for international business trips is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with one or more hyperscaler stacks (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, preferably with certifications).
• Software development in Python, Scala or Java.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts, algorithms and methodologies.
• Familiarity with GitHub, GitLab and CI/CD tools.
• SQL for databases and ETL (mid and senior profiles only).
• Nice to have: big data and data warehousing (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka), deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), VibeCoding tools (Cursor, Copilot), LLM fine-tuning (PEFT, LoRA) and Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban).
