Information Security Analyst

About the role

The Information Security Analyst will protect the digital infrastructure of Tirana International Airport. Reporting to the IT & Technology Manager, the analyst will monitor, detect, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity threats while helping to improve security controls and operational resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security events from SIEM, EDR/XDR, email security, network security tools and cloud platforms.
• Investigate and triage alerts, reduce false positives and escalate critical incidents.
• Support the full incident response lifecycle: identification, containment, eradication, recovery and post‑incident review.
• Collect and analyse endpoint, server, network and cloud logs during investigations.
• Coordinate vulnerability assessments, prioritize remediation and track progress with system owners.
• Assist with Identity and Access Management activities, including user access reviews and MFA implementation.

• Experience with SIEM platforms
• Knowledge of EDR/XDR solutions
• Familiarity with email and network security tools
• Understanding of cloud security monitoring
• Vulnerability assessment and remediation planning
• Identity and Access Management (IAM) concepts
• Multi‑Factor Authentication (MFA) implementation
