Software developer - Full Stack

About the role

Join a strong, collaborative team of software developers in Tirana, focused on building innovative, mission‑critical applications using modern computer‑science theories and best practices. You will work on a microservice‑based framework delivering high‑quality, responsive web solutions for both standard products and custom projects.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, design, implement, maintain and customize mission‑critical microservice applications.
• Develop reusable, testable modules and components ensuring long‑term maintainability.
• Deliver high‑quality, responsive web applications using Angular and related technologies.
• Maintain and evolve existing applications, including defect resolution and performance optimisation.
• Apply software‑development best practices: testing, documentation, code review, and design standards.
• Implement automated testing (unit, component, integration) to ensure stability.
• Support packaging, configuration and automated deployment of software components.
• Contribute to product innovation through prototypes, functional and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure timely delivery.
• Apply agile methodologies (Scrum) throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Engineering Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong experience with Angular, TypeScript and Material Design.
• Proven software development background with Java Spring Boot (functional or reactive programming a plus).
• Experience using GitHub Copilot or other AI coding assistants.
• Proficiency with Git version control and design patterns.
• Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and RESTful API design/consumption.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Selenium or Cucumber.
• Experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) is a plus.
• Experience implementing authentication/authorization (Keycloak, Spring Security, OAuth).
• Comfortable working in Mac/Linux environments and using shell scripting.
• Agile (Scrum) experience and ability to work independently in a multicultural team.
