Finance Business Partner (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a senior Finance Business Partner to join a fast‑growing European deep‑tech company that provides an energy‑efficient, sovereign AI compute platform. The role is fully remote within EMEA, with occasional travel to client sites and headquarters. You will work closely with commercial, operations and product teams, as well as directly with end‑clients, to drive financially‑sound decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with commercial, operations and product teams to provide financial analysis for strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain financial simulation models, including business plans, unit economics and deployment scenarios.
• Model and present ROI and total cost of ownership for infrastructure deployments to cities, institutions, energy producers and enterprises.
• Own monthly financial reporting, profitability analysis by site/unit and KPI tracking (margin, cash conversion, payback period).
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and challenge operational assumptions.
• Analyze cost structures of manufacturing and deployment, identifying optimisation levers.
• Prepare financial materials for executive committees, boards, investors and support fundraising or asset‑financing due diligence.
• Collaborate with finance teams across the group to ensure model consistency and consolidated reporting.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in corporate finance, FP&A or business finance, preferably in capex‑intensive sectors such as infrastructure, energy, industrials, telecom or data centres.
• Proven ability to build and defend financial models and ROI analyses in front of clients or partners.
• Experience in a startup or hyper‑growth environment is a strong plus.
• Strong analytical rigor, autonomy and excellent client‑facing communication skills.
