D&IT Transformation & Portfolio Manager

About the role

Vodafone is seeking a D&IT Transformation & Portfolio Manager to lead the Digital & IT transformation journey. The role will establish and execute a portfolio framework, ensuring projects are tracked, risks mitigated, and strategic initiatives delivered on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Define and align the technology roadmap, supporting cross‑technology planning and regular business reviews.
• Govern implementation of D&IT strategy, incorporating local and global stakeholder requirements.
• Drive annual Capex/Opex budgeting, prioritize spending and monitor execution.
• Produce and track key performance indicators to measure performance across Digital & IT.
• Create and manage the cluster portfolio framework, defining project scope and objectives.
• Allocate resources, predict needs and ensure efficient project delivery.
• Provide consistent project updates to stakeholders and present monthly portfolio reviews to the Executive Committee.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans as needed, and identify improvement areas.
• Lead efficiency programmes and promote organizational excellence.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in IT project and portfolio management.
• Ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
• Comfortable working under tight deadlines and demanding schedules.
• Strong analytical and financial analysis capabilities.
• High self‑motivation, ownership and leadership qualities.
• Organized and able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
