Digital Solution Architect

About the role

Vodafone is looking for a Digital Solution Architect to design and deliver end-to-end digital solutions that fit within the company’s enterprise architecture. You will translate business needs into secure, scalable technical designs and guide cross-functional teams through implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and perform technical impact assessments.
• Create and coordinate solution designs aligned with architecture blueprints.
• Develop architecture diagrams, define APIs and integration patterns, and ensure compliance with standards.
• Validate delivered solutions against approved designs and conduct code reviews focusing on Java, React, Node.js and Python.
• Produce detailed design documentation and support governance processes.
• Contribute to technology strategy, roadmap development and introduce modern frameworks to improve scalability and performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital applications architecture and design, preferably in the telecom or technology sector.
• Strong background in software engineering, design patterns, algorithms and system architecture.
• Hands‑on experience developing, testing and deploying software solutions and leading code‑review processes.
• Familiarity with cross‑domain integration, data management and SSO technologies (OpenID, SAML, OAuth).
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or TM Forum.
