Construction Site Engineer (Implementation)

About the role

Progeen, a private construction company operating in Albania since 2013, is looking for a Construction Site Engineer (Implementation) in its Technical Department in Durrës. The site engineer plans and organises the construction work according to the project, specifications and schedule, carries out daily checks, reports progress to the project manager and coordinates with the construction technician.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control the execution of works on site against the project and contractual documentation
• Ensure works follow quality, safety and schedule standards
• Coordinate construction activities between subcontractors and technical teams
• Check alignment with structural, MEP and architectural plans
• Report progress, technical issues and improvement proposals, and raise RFIs for clarification
• Ensure materials match specifications and minimise waste
• Assist in preparing and verifying As-Built drawings
• Maintain the site diary and help prepare daily and weekly work plans

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• More than 3 years of work experience
• Good ability to follow and implement contracts
• Good knowledge of English

Required skills

• Basic computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• AutoCAD 2D and 3D
