Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

About the role

The organization is seeking a seasoned finance leader to oversee its entire financial function. Reporting to the Executive Director and Board, the CFO will drive financial strategy, ensure regulatory compliance, and support key business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all financial activities of the institution.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for management and supervisory authorities.
• Develop, monitor, and adjust the annual budget and conduct financial analyses.
• Manage liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and overall financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors.
• Provide the Executive Director and Board with analytical insights and financial recommendations.

Required profile

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of senior finance experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and current financial legislation.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership abilities.
• Proficiency in English and advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
