Backend-Oriented Full-Stack Developer

About the role

Digital Euphoria, a creative agency supporting startups, business owners and agencies with digital services such as web development, content creation and social media management, is looking for a Backend-Oriented Full-Stack Developer to join its development team in Tirana. The role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining backend systems, APIs, databases and server-side applications for web and mobile projects. It is a full-time, on-site position.

Key responsibilities

• Implement business logic and design database structures
• Develop secure and scalable REST APIs and integrate third-party services
• Maintain application performance and reliability
• Contribute to frontend and mobile development when needed, working across the full application stack

Required profile

• At least 1 year of professional experience in backend or full-stack development
• Strong backend skills; candidates with stronger backend skills and a good understanding of frontend development are preferred over those focused mainly on UI
• Ability to troubleshoot problems, write maintainable code and work independently

Required skills

• Server-side programming, business logic, API development and application architecture
• REST APIs and relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL)
• At least one backend technology, preferably PHP (Laravel) or Node.js
• Authentication, authorization, data validation, security and API integrations
• Git and collaborative workflows; basic to intermediate React is beneficial, React Native or other mobile technologies a plus
