Albanian Language Expert – AI Data Annotation

About the role

iMerit Scholars is seeking fluent Albanian speakers to create privacy‑safe training data for AI systems. The work is fully remote and flexible, allowing you to fit it around existing commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Read Albanian text and tag all personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, ID numbers and dates of birth.
• Listen to raw Albanian audio recordings, mark segments containing PII with accurate timestamps, and review transcript snippets for PII.
• Draw precise bounding boxes around specified objects or regions in images (e.g., visible text, documents, faces) and apply correct labels.
• Flag unclear audio, poor‑quality images or content that falls outside the guidelines.

Required profile

• Fluent or near‑fluent Albanian with strong reading and listening comprehension, including informal and fast‑paced speech.
• Strong English reading and writing skills (B2 level or above) to follow guidelines.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow detailed tagging guidelines consistently.
• Reliable computer, good‑quality headphones and stable internet connection.

Required skills

• Comfort working with annotation tools for text, audio and images.
• Understanding of personal or sensitive information and respect for data confidentiality.
