Accountant (Financial Accountant)

About the role

Elite Accounting Albania, a financial services firm founded in February 2008, is looking for a full-time accountant in Tirana. The firm has been a trusted partner for over 18 years in financial reporting, tax declarations, tax advice, financial planning, business registration and compliance through official e-government platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update client accounting records
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements
• Prepare and submit tax declarations on time
• Communicate professionally with clients on fiscal and financial matters
• Ensure compliance with current laws and regulations
• Implement changes in tax legislation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, or a Master's degree in Accounting or Auditing; applications from candidates who have not completed their studies are not considered
• At least 1 year of work experience in accounting
• Clear knowledge of tax law and preparation of financial documentation
• Good command of English or Italian
• Analytical, organisational and independent work ability, with integrity and professional commitment

Required skills

• Practical mastery of finance software
• Experience with tax.gov.al, e-Albania and invoicing platforms
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
