Store Area Manager

About the role

Megatek, a leading retailer in Albania, is looking for a Store Area Manager to oversee specific sales zones within its hypermarkets. The role focuses on driving performance, ensuring high service standards, and optimizing operational processes.

Key responsibilities

• Daily management of assigned sales zones and their teams.
• Develop work plans and initiatives to improve departmental performance.
• Support the Hypermarket Director in achieving operational objectives.
• Monitor sales and performance indicators, proposing concrete improvement measures.
• Ensure merchandising standards, including product placement, pricing, labeling, and presentation.
• Enforce company procedures and standards across the team.
• Handle operational and emergency situations according to established protocols.
• Assist in onboarding and training new employees.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of promotions and new products.
• Participate in employee performance evaluation processes.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of management experience, preferably in retail.
• Strong leadership, organizational and decision‑making abilities.
• Result‑oriented with a strong customer focus.
• Excellent communication and team‑management skills.
• Good knowledge of sales processes and merchandising.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage challenging situations.
• Willingness to work in shifts.
