About the role

The Compliance Specialist will join the Compliance Unit of ProCredit Bank, supporting the bank in monitoring and implementing regulatory requirements and ensuring adherence to legal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor official publications of the Bank of Albania and regulatory updates to identify requirements affecting the bank.
• Assess the impact of legislative and regulatory changes on the bank’s operations and ensure implementation by relevant units.
• Document compliance risks across bank units and evaluate data‑privacy legislation changes.
• Prepare supporting documentation for legal registrations with third‑party authorities (e.g., BSH, ASD, KMDP, Competition Authority, QKB).
• Provide opinions on third‑party requests, manage client complaints according to the bank’s complaint‑handling procedure, and report compliance matters to senior management.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the banking sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Business or Finance.
• Strong knowledge of current legislation and regulatory framework.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and energetic.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with very good command of English.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of Albanian banking regulations.
• Proficiency in preparing legal and regulatory documentation.
