Solar PV Technical Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Solar PV Technical Manager to lead our technical department and oversee photovoltaic projects from design through to commissioning. The role combines strategic planning, team leadership and hands‑on technical supervision to ensure projects meet quality, budget and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the technical strategy in line with business objectives.
• Lead, coach and set performance targets for the technical team.
• Supervise photovoltaic projects from design phase to implementation and hand‑over.
• Ensure adherence to deadlines, budgets, technical standards, quality and health & safety requirements.
• Support the sales department with technical preparation of offers and client proposals.
• Manage technical procurement and coordinate with suppliers.
• Identify and introduce new technologies, standards and best practices in solar energy.
• Handle technical risks and issues throughout project execution.
• Collaborate with clients, partners and internal departments on technical matters.

Required profile

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in technical and managerial roles within the solar PV sector.
• Proven experience in design, implementation and supervision of photovoltaic projects.
• Strong knowledge of technical standards and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams.
• Excellent project, budget and supplier management capabilities.
• Analytical, organized and decisive decision‑making skills.
