Senior Tax Consultant - Legal Background

About the role

EY is looking for a motivated and ambitious Senior Tax Consultant with a legal background to join its Tax Practice in the Tirana office. The teams support and deliver tax advice for clients across Albania and abroad, and the role offers exposure to clients and business advisory experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop knowledge of local and international taxation.
• Take part in tax advisory engagements and deliver high-quality drafts.
• Join client meetings and projects with both clients and international EY offices.
• Work in a diverse cross-border team and work with junior colleagues, monitoring their work.

Required profile

• Higher education in tax, law, finance, economics or another relevant degree.
• Strong knowledge of Albanian tax legislation.
• 2-3 years of work experience in tax, accounting or another financial consulting and advisory firm.
• Excellent spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Good communication and soft skills.
• Advanced knowledge of PC software, including MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
