Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Rozafa Consulting is seeking a Senior Software Engineer who enjoys building high‑impact platforms, solving complex problems, and leveraging modern and AI‑powered development tools. You will work on products used by thousands of users in Albania and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale backend services and APIs.
• Develop modern web and mobile applications using React, Next.js, and React Native.
• Define system architecture, lead technical decisions, and mentor junior developers.
• Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
• Integrate AI/LLM capabilities and AI coding assistants into products and workflows.
• Improve performance, reliability, and security of all services.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and management teams.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Node.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands‑on experience with React, Next.js, and React Native.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Proven ability to deploy and maintain applications on AWS.
• Practical use of AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) in daily work.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) is a strong plus.
• Excellent problem‑solving, independent ownership, and communication skills.
