Senior Salesforce Developer

About the role

A team is looking for a Senior Salesforce Developer to build, develop, enhance and maintain scalable Salesforce applications and solutions. The role covers Apex development, integrations, troubleshooting and the use of modern DevOps practices.

Key responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable Apex solutions using triggers, asynchronous processing, batch Apex, platform events, integration and design patterns.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
• Apply the Salesforce data model, security model, sharing rules and permission architecture to solution design.
• Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events and external systems.
• Ensure solutions meet Salesforce standards for performance, security, maintainability, testing and code quality.
• Use Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices to manage source control, testing and releases.

Required profile

• 5+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• Ability to independently analyse complex requirements, design technical solutions and troubleshoot challenging platform issues.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations with REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events and external systems.
• Strong experience with Apex unit testing.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in Apex, including triggers, asynchronous processing, integration patterns and governor limit optimisation.
• Hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Salesforce Lightning Experience.
• Advanced knowledge of SOQL/SOSL, data access patterns and performance optimisation.
• Experience with Salesforce Flows and automation best practices.
• Proficiency with Salesforce DX, Git, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
