Senior Python Developer – FastAPI, Kubernetes, AI‑assisted

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, build and maintain modern, cloud‑native backend services. The role focuses on FastAPI‑based applications, AI‑assisted development, and deployment on Kubernetes clusters in AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, scalability and performance optimisation.
• Integrate and manage NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Collaborate with frontend teams using Flutter for dynamic interfaces.
• Work with existing Java components and ensure seamless integration.
• Utilise AI‑assisted coding tools, prompt engineering and modern development practices.
• Deploy, monitor and troubleshoot services on Kubernetes/EKS.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab and manage source code using Git.
• Track tasks and progress in Jira, collaborating with architects and DevOps.

Required profile

• Strong professional experience in Python backend development.
• Advanced knowledge of FastAPI or similar frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with MongoDB, Cassandra and distributed architectures.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI/CD, Git and Jira workflows.
• Basic understanding of Java and exposure to Flutter.
• Interest or experience in AI‑assisted software development and prompt engineering.
