Senior Manual Tester – Maternity Leave Replacement (1‑Year Fixed‑Term)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manual Tester to cover a maternity leave for a 1‑year fixed‑term contract. You will join Flutter’s Testing Department, collaborating with developers, analysts and product owners to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of our digital betting and iGaming products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, prepare and execute detailed test plans, test cases and scenarios covering web, mobile and desktop applications.
• Perform functional and regression testing, identify defects and manage their lifecycle using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with development teams, business analysts and product owners to validate requirements and achieve comprehensive test coverage.
• Mentor junior testers, share best practices and promote a quality‑focused culture.
• Document test artefacts, execution reports and maintain clear defect tracking records.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement of testing processes, tools and methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in manual software testing, focusing on functional and regression testing.
• ISTQB Foundation certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of manual testing principles and techniques.
• Experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Quality Center or ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with test management tools like TestRail, ALM or Polarion.
• Working knowledge of SQL for data verification.
