SAP ABAP/ BTP Developer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled SAP ABAP/BTP Developer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and building both object‑oriented and procedural ABAP applications, as well as extending them on the SAP Business Technology Platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain OO ABAP and procedural ABAP applications.
• Develop and customize solutions on SAP BTP using ABAP Cloud technologies.
• Create ABAP Cloud artifacts with RAP (ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model) or CAP (SAP Cloud Application Programming Model).
• Build SAP UI5/Fiori web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and Fiori Elements.
• Develop OData services, expose CDS views, and integrate with SAP HANA Cloud.
• Support migration projects from SAP ECC to S/4HANA, including code remediation and adaptation of custom developments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in ABAP development (reports, BAPIs, RFCs, enhancements, Smart Forms, Web Dynpro).
• Basic knowledge of ABAP Cloud concepts such as RAP, CDS Views, OData, and UI annotations.
• Familiarity with SAP BTP architecture and extending ABAP applications in the cloud.
• Experience with SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Object Page, etc.).
• Understanding of CTS and transport/release processes for both cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Proactive problem‑solver with strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field.
• Business‑level English required; German is a plus.
