Regional Retail Manager

About the role

The Regional Retail Manager will oversee a group of WELL drugstores within a defined geographic area, ensuring daily operations run smoothly, sales targets are met, and costs are controlled. This role involves coordinating retail activities, leading store managers, and driving performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations, including staff training, work planning, and process prioritisation.
• Implement company strategy across all stores and ensure alignment with corporate objectives.
• Monitor and achieve sales plans and budgets, analyse sales and revenue reports, and forecast targets.
• Optimise store performance to maximise sales while minimising costs.
• Collaborate with store managers on stock management and maintain accurate product records.
• Support promotional campaigns in line with marketing directives.
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose actionable process enhancements.
• Conduct performance evaluations of stores, staff, and sales results.
• Organise regular meetings with sales teams and other departments to review goals and set objectives.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, turnover, and daily attendance.
• Address operational challenges promptly and ensure effective problem resolution.

Required profile

• University degree preferred in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience managing multiple retail locations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data.
• Excellent leadership and team‑motivation abilities.
• Effective communication and coordination with cross‑functional departments.
