About the role

The Wizz Air Pilot Academy (WAPA) in Albania offers a structured pathway for aspiring pilots with little or no prior aviation experience to obtain a Commercial Pilot License and join Wizz Air’s flight crew.

Key responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive ground school curriculum covering aviation theory, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Participate in simulator sessions and flight training under the guidance of certified instructors.
• Pass a series of online assessments in mathematics, physics, and English.
• Attend a face‑to‑face interview in Tirana as part of the selection process.
• Demonstrate proficiency in required physical tests, including a 50‑meter swim.

Required profile

• Albanian nationality.
• Minimum high school diploma.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Strong understanding of mathematics and physics.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to swim 50 meters unaided.
