MEP Chief / Manager – Luxury Hotel Project (Albania)

About the role

We are looking for a visionary MEP Chief/Manager to lead the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and automation works for a 5‑star luxury hotel project in Albania. The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership and the ability to coordinate across multiple disciplines on an international construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all MEP works are executed within budget, schedule, approved shop drawings and quality specifications.
• Monitor daily/weekly site performance, workforce, material supply and progress of MEP subcontractors.
• Coordinate MEP installation with structural and interior fit‑out teams to avoid clashes.
• Manage technical submittals, factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site inspections of electromechanical equipment.
• Lead testing, commissioning and handover of building services, including BMS and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct technical meetings with client and consultant engineers, handling RFIs and variations.
• Oversee quantity measurements, progress billing reviews and preparation of provisional/final handover documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years experience as MEP Chief or Manager on large‑scale international luxury hotel projects.
• Proven experience in leading testing & commissioning phases and system handovers.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and coordination skills with construction disciplines, clients and consultants.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to work on an expatriate basis at an international project site.
