Liquor Sales Specialist

About the role

Turn your knowledge of spirits into standout guest experiences, from tastings and cocktail conversations to premium liquor sales at sea. We are seeking Liquor Sales Specialists to join our onboard retail teams on cruise ships worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce guests to our premium liquor range, explain flavour profiles, and recommend products for gifts, occasions or personal enjoyment.
• Support and conduct tastings, seminars, in‑store events and promotional activities, creating engaging conversations that drive sales.
• Approach guests naturally, identify buying signals, suggest complementary items and maintain sales momentum without pressure.
• Maintain visual standards, accurate stock handling and compliance processes while sharing product knowledge with the team.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of spirits (whisky, rum, gin, vodka, tequila, cognac, liqueurs) gained through liquor retail, duty‑free, hospitality, mixology, bar work or brand‑ambassador experience.
• Confidence discussing flavour notes, cocktail ideas, gifting options and brand stories.
• Ability to host or support tastings, demonstrations, seminars or promotional events.
• Motivation to achieve sales targets, a positive team‑focused attitude and fluency in English (additional languages a plus).
• Good physical fitness for an active, on‑board role.
