Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Vodafone is seeking a senior finance leader to provide commercial, strategic and financial expertise that drives optimal resource allocation and investment returns. The role will shape financial control processes, deliver insightful planning, and support business functions across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and performance tracking, ensuring data accuracy, variance analysis and proactive risk identification.
• Lead process optimisation and automation initiatives within financial planning and reporting to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Conduct deep‑dive profitability analysis across products, segments and revenue streams, aligning results with strategic goals and identifying margin‑improvement opportunities.
• Partner with senior stakeholders in Commercial, Marketing and Finance leadership to provide data‑driven insights and support decision‑making.

Required profile

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to solve complex business problems.
• Sound judgment and the capacity to make timely, effective decisions.
• Proven experience creating robust finance control environments while meeting business needs.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior‑level interaction.
• Team‑oriented mindset focused on collective goals.
• Considerable depth of experience in finance; telecom experience is a plus.
