Front Desk Customer Service (Bank)

About the role

The Front Desk Customer Service role supports the Shkoder branch by handling cash and non‑cash transactions, ensuring compliance with bank procedures and regulatory directives. The incumbent will interact directly with clients, providing fast, accurate and courteous service while maintaining the branch’s cash integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Execute cash and non‑cash transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, utility payments, third‑party payments, currency exchange, cheque processing, ATM operations) accurately and securely.
• Maintain cash limits and perform regular cash counts, checks and balances in line with bank policies.
• Register walk‑in customers in the system and complete required forms.
• Refer clients to appropriate relationship officers based on their needs.
• Achieve individual performance targets set by the branch.
• Ensure service standards are met, delivering timely assistance to all clients.
• Adhere strictly to all procedural and regulatory guidelines governing cashier activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or a related field.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
